Mummy Jars using Oly-Fun | The Flamingo Chronicals: Mummy Jars using Oly-Fun

Mummy Jars using Oly-Fun

Good morning everyone - I am back again today with another Halloween project. I have a couple more up my sleeve this year. I am going all out on the Halloween Decorations! I may need to have a party to show all these great projects off,,,,

Anyway. Today we are blog hopping with Designer Crafts Connection and Fairfield World - there are some amazing projects along the way so be sure to check them all out.

I needed a few Mummy candle jars to light up the hearth. I have a really LARGE hearth - it is 12' wide so I try to put some substantial decorations on it for each season. I grabbed a few supplies and got to work.

I used White Oly-Fun, Mason Jars, Perfect Pearls Mist, google eyes, and adhesive.

I cut my Oly-Fun into random sized strips, piled them up and gave a few spritzes with the Perfect Pearls.

Next up I wrapped the strips around several sizes of jars, tucking the ends to secure. I added google eyes to finish them off. Tea lights in the bottom of the jars complete the look.

I added ribbons to my candlesticks, tossed in some fun pumpkins, and lit my tea candles. I am super happy with how these came out - if I can just keep the wolfhound from eating them before Halloween all will be well.

Thanks for stopping by today!
